SAFETRAC provides products that a company can implement to educate, measure, report and audit employees in the four following areas of compliance;

Legal Compliance: Products in the area ensure that employees have an adequate level of knowledge to enable them to meet their legal compliance obligations through reference material, tutorial and tests.

Policy Compliance: Products in this area indentify whether employees have appropriate knowledge relevant to their work role and are following required practices and procedures.

Risk Management: Products in this area provide employees with the knowledge and understanding of Risk Management from a basic to a comprehensive level through reference material, tutorials and tests.

Audit Assessment: Products in this area assess the knowledge and behaviour of employees on specific organisational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and legal obligations. There are also courses to educate and test employees regarding product knowledge.

These products include legal courses, codes of conduct, organisational policies and procedures, product sales training, continuing professional development, induction training, behavioural analysis questionnaires and employee surveys.

All customers enjoy the benefit of being able to tailor the content available on their Compliance Management System. The content can either be tailored by the customer, TrainNet, SAFETRAC or by requesting Minter Ellison Rudd Watts Lawyers to do so. Before implementing a SAFETRAC system, system and content tailoring is conducted to ensure the customers system in operational to their expected standards.

Industry specific training modules can be developed according to any needs they have in relation to legislation that affects them. There is also capacity for customers to upload their own content to be delivered through the SAFETRAC system. Pricing to do so is subject to quotation.

SAFETRAC has a Dedicated Client Services Division that services its existing client base. It consists of a dedicated team of project managers committed to ensuring that the highest standards of expectations are exceeded once a customer has chosen to implement SAFETRAC. To complement this in New Zealand TrainNet offer 2nd tier level support and very high level account management.

SAFETRAC is an internet based system that utilises both e-learning and computer based functionality. It is delivered via the internet, using standard web-browser interfaces to deliver coaching, undertaking knowledge testing and provide online access to reference materials. Additionally, it provides management access to a range of administrative and reporting tools that give you an assured level of confidence that your organisation is fulfilling the requirements above. Experience has demonstrated that approximately 70-80% of employees already have adequate knowledge of a range of compliance obligations and SAFETRAC can fast track these employees to a pass result which minimises employee downtime.

SAFETRAC's event triggered analysis and reporting systems alert customers, by exception, of assessment and testing irregularities that do not meet your compliance standards. The capacity is provided to receive the reports customers want when they want them. This empowers managers/supervisors to be able to deal with issues as they arise in the work place, avoiding the need to escalate to senior/HR management. Reports are provided at any level across the organisation or the entire organisation relating to any of the reportable attributes. These can be programmed by the managers to be delivered into their mailbox on a frequency determined by them and can be deleted, changed, or an additional report added at any time.

SAFETRAC integrates employee and management access, results measured, reporting and event management facilities, and provides an audit trail of the assessment and remedial training which is conducted.

SAFETRAC ensures that compliance and good governance obligations are exceeded by maintaining employee records that would stand the scrutiny of due diligence. Areas of the organisation or individuals that may be at risk can be easily identified, remedial action implemented and traced to closure. Year on year records of employee compliance and good governance are maintained on line to facilitate year on year analysis. The organisation executive and management team also have transparent view of the organisation's current compliance performance.

SAFETRAC delivers improved risk management, reduces the likelihood of a breach and contributes to the maintenance of a safer and more productive work place. In the event of an alleged breach the electronic records of compliance provide the basis for a due diligence defence. At the same time it reduces the cost of an organisation's compliance function, by identifying individuals and practices at risk, resulting in effective and focused responses.

The installation will typically take two to three weeks. At the completion of the installation the customer will be able to add user names and subscribe employees to courses.

At the completion of the installation and the client acceptance of the system, assistance can be made if required, in the initial upload of their employee data which could take one to two weeks. The key factors that will influence this will be the availability of the organisational data from the customer.
